India is so much more than a country that has 29 states and 8 union territories. It has an amazing congregation of unique culture, food, people, linguistics, and so much more that I must be forgetting. India, in general, is the hub for beautiful destinations, every state has the USP that makes it different from the rest, Rajasthan has beautiful mahals to give you the perfect royal feeling with its glorious heritage. Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir gives the vibes of how beauty rests in ice-capped mountains and how insignificant we are. Hence, every part is worthy of being captured.
Our socials tell a lot about us, our personality, choices, taste, opinions, etc. Who doesn't like having Instagram-worthy pictures while on a trip? I guess none of us fall in that category. Making a trip happen, requires a hell of a lot of planning, bookings, and so much more. So, it might as well be worth the effort. Some cities can provide you the perfect scenic beauty for your Instagram feed.
So here are a few of my absolute favorites:
Udaipur: Also known as the city of lakes, Udaipur is a beautiful city in the state of Rajasthan, is known for its heritage. It is home to many scenic locations like City palace, situated near the bank of the Pichola Lake, which is now a museum with antiques, paintings, from the royal era. Saheliyon-ki-Bari is yet another gem it dates back to (1710-1734) was made for a princess and her 48 friends as a part of the dowry, is now a garden with kiosks, fountains, huge elephants made of marble, and lotus pools, is worth visiting. There are many more places that one should visit like, Lake Fateh Sagar, Monsoon Palace, Lake Palace, etc. Apart from the tourist sites it also has a rich cultural heritage, dance forms like ghoomar, kalbelia, bhavai, etc. would be a great source of entertainment. Not to mention these places are endowed with such aesthetics that no one can resist but have pictures clicked.
Alleppey: Situated in the state of Kerala, Alleppey is famous for houseboat cruises on the backwaters of Kerala. It has a typical Venetian touch as it has canals and lagoons which makes every bit of it memorable. A day in Alleppey beach will make us feel enchanted by its clear water waves and the soothing breeze is a perfect getaway from the chaotic monotony. Apart from this, there are Kuttanad backwaters. It feels like paradise. Spectacular houseboats surrounded by beautiful water, mountains, and mesmerizing landscapes.
Ladakh: Ladakh witnesses one of the most tourist attractions in India. Ladakh's capital city Leh-Ladakh is famous among riders. Enthusiasts from all over the country along with their groups travel to cherish the beauty of mountains and hills. It has some beautiful lakes like Pangong Tso Lake, besides its eternal beauty it gained fame because of the movie "3 idiots". It's the best place to have a great time with your folks and have a memorable picnic. Khardung-La-pass, grab an Enfield, and make your way to it. Enjoying the rough roads and beautiful valleys, a Cruiser or Himalayan would suit the best. Needless to mention it shall all be unimaginably scenic.
Pondicherry: Pondicherry is famous for its breath-taking views. It has an aesthetic touch to it; it has a beautiful French colony that provides excellent locations for the photoshoot. One such location is paradise beach; it has clear blue waters with soft sand all over the beach. Besides being beautiful, it has clean toilets with showers and places for a lounge. The place is extremely crowded with locals and tourists, though you are not allowed to drink but you can rent a fishing rod and try your hands on fishing. If you are interested in exploring the aquatic life and the underwater world, then Pondicherry provides you its way of scuba diving on the eastern coasts. Exploring a thrilling underwater world and spotting new unique creatures accompanied by beautiful reefs, fascinating pleasing fishes, marine animals, and pure look of underwater.
So, next time when you plan a trip make sure to have these Instagram-friendly places in your mind.
